at my school (gateway middle school in Washington, we can only choose from one elective, and those are: band (you have to be in band in 6th grade to do it in 7th grade, otherwise you will miss out on tons of things), choir (only in 7th and 8th grade) (if you go to gateway or will go to gateway, do NOT join it. it sucks and is boring.), and UA (which stands for Unified Arts. You change the class every trimester, so there is Art, Tech - which is computers and other things - General Music - which is only in 6th grade, and it's with the choir teacher, so don't be in UA in 6th grade!!! - and Home Education, which has topics like cooking, sewing, and those types of things.
