Theodor Geisel never published a book. He wrote articles, and drew Cartoons. Theodor Geisel published books under the pseudonyms Dr. Suess and Theo LeSieg. The first book published by Dr. Suess was The Cat in the Hat (1957). The first published by Theo LeSieg was Ten Apples up on Top (1961)!
