You can call 1-800-get-zune. Or you could also take it to geek squad, because they usually know what they are doing. It also comes down to what we're you doing, did you drop it? Get exposed to water? Or anything else like that? The zunes are really fragile in my opion and break easily like yours and sadly mine. I would have gone with an iPod but it didnt have the FM radio.
I have a Zune Hd and also had this problem. Go to: Start >Control Panel >Windows Firewall >Change Settings >Exceptions and check the box "Zune Wireless Sync". Then hit "ok". That should fix your problem, (to sync media, open the zune software while your zune is connected, to charge and use the zune close the zune software).
There are two ways to turn off you Zune completely. #1: Hold the [back] button simultaneously with the [down] button on the click wheel for five seconds and I will turn off completely. #2: Leave the Zune on till the battery runs out. Hope this helps

Get a zune. They're awesome.
Check if you turned the zune on. When this happen to me, this is what I did: Plug your Zune in to the computer. Exit out of the Zune marketplace once it pops up. Your Zune should be charging.
Disk
on your zune go to settings and click screen lock. set a screen lock (for quickness set it as 2111) turn of your zune then turn it back on. get the screen lock WRONG (type in 1111) if you get it wrong three or four times a message will come up saying "would you like to reset your zune"
You have an issue with your Zune firmware. Your best action would be to update your Zune to the latest firmware which should deal with the issue of missing songs.
I am a zune owner, first you need to download the program. Yo mite still have the old program which won't work. Just go to zune.net and download it. This program is TERRIBLE and has sooo many syncing problems but you have to use it. If you have music on your zune plug your zune it using your usb cable. Then go to the top of the program and hit "device" then click on "music" find your song and right click. There should be a save option.
Sadly, theyre not. i got an ihome alarm clock for xmas for my zune and my parents didnt kno they arent compatible. So i really strongly suggest not buyong any iPod accescories for your zune as they probably wont work.
If your computer does not recognize your Zune, you should first check to see if you have the latest version of Zune software. If your software is up-to-date, try restarting both your PC and Zune.
