Can be a defective plug wire, burnt valve, cracked head, or blown head gasket. Replace the spark plug wires. If you still have the miss, have a compression test run on all cylinders. Low compression on cylinder #4 indicates a burnt valve, cracked head, or blown head gasket.
Could be a few reasons, and can't be pinpointed without me actually seeing it "in action". But here are the most likely reasons, in order of likleyhood: 1) Spark plug not tightened to proper specs. Fix: tighen plug to proper specs with torque wrench. 2) Spark plug "washer" bad or gone. Fix: Replace washer. 3) Spark plug seals bad. Fix: Replace spark plug. 4) Bad threads in spark plug hole. Fix: Retap, or "Helicoil" it. 5) Crack in head near spark plug hole. Fix: Replace head.
The Plug that is hooked to the head light switch is melting, Get a new switch at a parts store, it will come with a new plug, it will be necessary to splice (solder) the plug. If you do not replace the plug and switch it will start a fire in the dash.
If there is only one plug, try removing the plug, spraying WD40 in the plug hole, replace the plug and try starting.
