A region free dvd player.
DVD movies are region specific. This is a code on the disc which says where the DVD can be played. Region 1 is the USA, Region 2 is Europe and so on. If you have a Region 1 DVD in Europe, it won't play. Many people disagree with region encoding and enter a code into their DVD players to turn off this protection. The codes are all listed on the internet and are free to use. There are some DVDs which are Region 0, which will play anywhere. In short the answer is "no" unless it's a region 0 dvd or if the machine has been set to play anything
PS2 play your region DVDs and not all regions
you have to set them to on the dvd menu but they can
That the DVD isn't linked to a region code, an should play in any DVD player no matter what region code the player is meant for.
Confirm that they are PS2 games for this region and try a DVD to see if that will play. If the DVD does not play it is probably your DVD drive that is broken
Magnavox dvd/vcr has the best warranty of 1 year..
They don't play on my 60GB PS3.
I'm sorry but it cannot. If you bought your PS3 in the US, you can only play DVD and Blu-ray movies that are from this region (region 1 for DVD and A for Blu-ray). What I suggest you do (this is what I do) is download Shrink DVD (freeware..just google it), make a backup of you DVD movie (Shrink DVD automatically removes the region protection) and burn it. Then you can play the copy on your PS3. Hope this helps...
