The manufacturer of the Sceptre LCD panels is said to be Toshiba, OR so I was told today by a sales person at a local electronics store. Sceptre manufactures the other parts.
Sceptre has better picture quality...
A Sceptre TV can be purchased at the online amazon store with a price of only $279.99. They can also be purchased at other websites like Sceptre site itself with prices ranging from $499 to $600.
Sceptre televisions are among the less expensive brands in the US market. They lack the clever features of the premium brands and the styling of their more expensive competition. It is unfair to compare them directly to the likes of Sony, Samsung and Panasonic but they are generally regarded as good value for money. They are worth considering if you are looking to buy on a budget. They are likely to be as reliable as most other brands. Before buying, take a look at them. If you like the image, they are worth considering.
Sharp TV parts are good quality. It all depends on what parts you need and what television you are working with, but overall, Sharp is good quality for the price.
how to connect xbox with scepter tv
I am a home theater installer. I recently installed a scepture 37" . I have read mixed reviews on the TV but I can say that it was a great "bang for your buck." I calibrated the tv and thought the picture was pretty good. I did noticed the color HD was a little washed out and the contrast was a little weak but over all I don't believe you are going to find another 37" that looks that good for $500. The key to success is calibrating the tv. You are not going to be able to open the box plug in the TV and start watching. My customer had been watching the TV for about 2 weeks and was only moderately empressed (he has been watching a Sony before the Scepture) but after the calibration he was much happier with the TV.
You just have to grab it by the hair and doggy style it until you get the right color you want
