It depends. You'll need a place to play at. Therefore, you will have to share profit or pay to play at a football arena, Basketball arena, hockey arena or large convention center. Some teams have gotten away with playing at outdoor fields, but when the weather gets cold or it starts raining, fans won't come. Two, the girls will need uniforms. Three, you need a place to practice at. And four, travel expenses for when the team plays away from home.
Overall, the sport is very profitable. Player salaries are based off ticket sales. But don't think you can get away with giving them chump change. If the team starts doing better and bringing in large crowds; players and team staff will want you to fork out more money. If you manage your team right, then your operating cost, won't be all that bad.
