Grace Rice MacMullen was the oldest daughter of Dr. John R. Rice, evangelist and founder of the Sword of the Lord Foundation, and the wife of Allan MacMullen, a Baptist pastor. She was the author of A Reward for Jerry and God Pried Up My Fingers One by One, as well as various poems. In addition, she was the first editor of The Joyful Woman, a Christian ladies' magazine. She passed away on October 24, 1981.
