No one is ever really sure since most women will never admit to anything they wore in the 80's. Though I did do some research and found a list of some of the things supposedly worn during 1980-1989. Leg Warmers
Parachute Pants
Sunglasses
Add-a-Bead Necklaces
The Madonna Look
Neon
Acid Washed Jeans
The Preppie Look
Members Only Jackets
Ankle Socks
Guess Jeans
Layered Socks
Oversized Shirts
Wayfarer Sunglasses
Swatch Watches
Jelly Shoes (Jellies)
Friendship Pins
Reebok Hightops
if memory serves me right, I think there were alot of pointy flats, converse like sneakers (low or high tops) with layered socks, and granny boots which you now see as booties. The flats went with everything, the sneakers with the heavily layered cotton stuff and the booties were like the catch all heal with dresses and or capris.
Flats definitely that are neon colors
I have a few suggestions. About jelly shoes. Dr Martens there were lots and lots of sites were you can find out more. Just do a bit of online research
Women in the 80s wore things like jelly shoes, jelly bracelets and leg warmers. They also wore shoulder pads, neon clothing, leggings and oversized sweaters.
People in the 80s wore jelly shoes, wedges, jelly bracelets, skinny jeans, big sweatshirts, shoulder pads, and very colorful things.
nobody should wear a cummerbund, unless you're from the 80s.
The Madonna look is an easy costume to make and even the make-up isn't hard. Try this website for information on how to become a "Madonna",http://www.80s-fashion-fancy-dress.com/wear-80s-party.html.
Because the 80s are coming back.
In grade school we wore friendship beads on our shoes. I had Kangaroos and they had pockets on them. I don't know where the beads came from or what I did with them but the fad seemed to fade away after about mid 80s.

Teen witch, 1989
70s or 80s
I wear Gaynors and they tend to be more expensive then other brands of pointe shoes. I'd say they range between the 80s and 90s but they last much longer and do not break. If you order them specially (i.e. longer vamp, double shank, etc.) they will cost more. I personally love my Gaynors (:
