The highest earners are allegedly on circa £250,000 a year... For instance, Danny Cipriani has just signed another year's contract with Wasps probably in excess of 200k. But that's only the top earners.... at the bottom of the litter you have senior academy players (18+ F/T) who are often only on £25k per year. But generally most premiership players are on about £40k - £75k. Some of the big names get big sponsorship deals as well, which adds to their wallet.

Depending on the hierarchy of the player, the salary varies. A senior Wasp player can earn up to 245.000 at the most. This is from 2005.
