The Moon didn't stop revolving. Or rotating, either. However, its rotation and revolution are synchronized, so that it always presents the same face (more or less) towards Earth. This is due to tidal effects, which is a somewhat difficult concept to understand. Without going into the math, the net result of tidal forces is that an object in orbit around a larger body experiences a sort of "pull" outward from the center both towards and away from the larger body and a slight compression inward towards the center perpendicular to the direction of the larger body. This force tends to "tidally lock" first the smaller, and over time the larger, body.
The moon revolving around the Earth - creates the tides.
Gravity, you idiot!
The Sun stays still while the Earth rotates on its axis while revolving around the Sun. The Moon rotates on its axis while revolving around the Earth.
it is caused by the moons orbit it orbits around the earth and once it does that the phaces of the the moon are revolving so it causes moon phaces.
The Moon orbits the Earth, once every 28 days. ( one month(Moonth)). So in the position as seen from a given point and time on Earth will change by 1/28 of circle in one day. (approximately) 12 degrees.
The moon will not stop revolving (orbiting the earth) any time soon. The moon is very slowly moving farther away from the earth, though, and this will mean a reduced tidal effect and a longer orbital period. This will take millions of years; the change in distance between earth and moon is extremely slow.
The moon is caught in Earth's gravitational pull and the Earth spins on its axis and it is as though the moon is revolving around it
Simply, the moon is the moon.
No. The moon Is constantly revolving around the Earth, which is revolving the Sun.
No way
The revolving of the earth and the rotating of the moon.
the moon is in the outer space and revolving around the earth in an orbit.
No, because the moon is revolving around the earth.
No, it is not possible to stop the electrons from revolving around the nucleus unless they are stripped off from the nucleus.
The moon revolving around the Earth - creates the tides.
The earth is flat!
