Alaska or anywhere near the Arctic circle. On rare occasions they can be seen as far South as Georgia or even Texas. Fairbanks, AK offers some of the best viewing in North America. Try Chena Hot Springs outside of Fairbanks for a nice soak and good place to view the lights. Go and see them, amazing!

The Northern Lights can be seen in countries located near the Arctic Circle, such as Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Canada, and Alaska in the United States. The best time to see them is during the winter months when the nights are longer and darker.
