In Physics , space and time are combined to become a "Space Continuum". This mathematical concept is known as â??space-time" and has space representing the first three dimensions and time the fourth. By combining space and time into a "Minowski Space", Physicists have simplified the workings of space at both subatomic and super galactic levels.

The space-time continuum is a concept in physics that combines the three dimensions of space with the one dimension of time into a single four-dimensional continuum. It is the framework in which all events occur in the universe, where objects not only have a position in space but also a position in time. This concept is fundamental to understanding how gravity affects the fabric of space and time.

I think it's actually called space-time continuum with the hyphen. Space-time is the concept of time and three-dimensional space regarded as fused in a four-dimensional continuum. A continuum is a continuous sequence in which adjacent elements are not perceptibly different from each other, although the extremes are quite distinct. Basically, the speed at which you travel through space will determine the speed at which you travel through time. When you reach near the speed of light your clock is at its slowest. IF you could exceed the speed of light you would, theoretically, travel back in time. So, as 4 dimensions, we can pick a place (which is in 3 dimensions) and a time (the forth dimension). For example, on Sunday, June 18, 1815 (time), Napoleon was defeated at the battle of Waterloo near Waterloo, Belgium (place). Another example, tomorrow (time) you might take a trip to Paris, France (place). You see, space and time are fused in a continuos sequence.
