A Lunar Phenomena (or a transient lunar phenomenon - TLP) is kind of unusual short-lived activity or events seen on the Moon. Those reported have included red glows, flashes, obscurations, and abnormal albedo and shadow effects. However there is no unambiguous photographic or photometric record of such an event and some authorities are inclined to dismiss them as either aberrational effects in Earth's atmosphere, changes in lunar lighting conditions, or outright illusions. A lunar revolution is the time it takes for the moon to complete one orbit around the Earth. This period is about 27.3 days, during which the moon goes through its phases from new moon to full moon and back again.

Relative to the Earth, the Moon revolves once per 27.2 to 29.5 Earth days depending on frame of reference, (see link below).
The Moon happens to always face the Earth (with some "libration" - back and forth rotation), so its rotation on it s own axis is equal to the orbital rotation (with small deviations).

The Moon revolves around the earth, and also around its own axis, every 27.3 days.

That is the revolution period of the moon.

.

From our perspective, the revolution period of the moon appears longer, because when the Earth itself revolves around the Sun, the Moon-Earth-Sun alignment changes in the time it takes the the moon to complete its Terran orbit, and the Moon therefore has to travel a little further in its orbit (more than one complete orbit) in order to re-orient itself into the same Moon-Earth-Sun alignment. Therefore the phases of the moon repeat in an elongated period of 29.5 days.

The moon orbits the earth once every 28 days. It is tidally locked with earth and always shows the same face to earth meaning that it rotates around its axis once every 28 days.
