A space explorer is a person who travels through space to conduct research, gather data, or explore and study celestial bodies like planets, moons, and asteroids. They are often astronauts who participate in manned space missions or scientists who design and operate robotic spacecraft to explore the universe.
Usually called an astronaut, they explore space in space shuttles or rockets as some people call them. Like the Challenger. Sadly it blew up, but we have to move on with life. If you want to see a picture of the crew, go to Google.com and click on Images, type in 'Challenger blow up' and the 2nd picture is one or the 7th one (in the first row).
