He just cheated on his wife. well actually zeus defeated cronos because cronos (zeus' father) swallowed all 5 children that he had had because he knew that one day one of his children would defeat him someday so when they had zeus his mother hid him and then when cronos was going to eat zeus his mother made cronos swallow a stone instead so zeus defeated cronos by making him vomit up his 5 other children and yeah
