If it's the place I think it is, and they are walking round in circles, you...
a) Run around until you see a dark alcove with a kind of pipe archway - it is positioned in such a way that if you push the nearby block into the pipe archway the Vashta Nerada have to go into the alcove to continue their circle.
b) Push the block into the pipe archway (if you haven't done so already).
c) Run away from the Vashta Nerada and get up onto the catwalk above as quickly as possible.
d) Make your way to the switch (on the catwalk) and wait for a Vashta Nerada to walk into the shadowy alcove mentioned earlier.
e) Flick the switch when the Vashta Nerada is COMPLETELY inside the alcove.
This will cause a bright light to go on, and it will kill the Vashta Nerada. You do this twice because there are two of them (don't go down until the other one is dead).
Hope this helps!
In the Doctor Who universe, the Vashta Nerada are microscopic carnivorous creatures found in shadows. If you want to include them in a Doctor Who adventure, you could have the characters encounter them in a dark, shadowy environment where they must outsmart or escape the creatures to survive. Be sure to emphasize the danger they pose when the lights go out.
