The Moon is constanly changing shape, because it is orbiting the Earth. It is not STATIC in space.
However, at certain times its shape is given a name.
Day 1; New Moon ; Not seen because it is very close to the Sun (day time), Possible Solar Eclipse
Day 7 ; 1st. Quarter ; Half the circle of the Moon is seen .(evening)
Day 14 ; Full Moon ; A full lit disc is seen. (midnight). Possible Lunar Eclipse.
Day 21 ; Last Quarter ; The other half of the Moon is seen. ( Morning)
Day 28/28 ; Next New Moon.
Between day 1 - 7 it's shape is waxing crescent
Between day 7 - 14 it;'s shape is waxing gibbous
Day 14 - 21 it's waning gibbous
Day 21 - 28/9 it's shape is waning crescent.
NB In good clear weather conditions , when a crescent moon is seen , the ghost shape of the full moon's circle can be seen. In England ; it is said of 'The old moon with the new moon in her arms'.
We call it "waxing" when the portion of the visible part of the Moon is getting more illuminated, and "waning" when the visible part of the Moon is becoming less illuminated.
The Moon is always one-half illuminated by the Sun. We can always SEE one-half of the Moon. But the visible half doesn't correspond to the illuminated half, so we see the "phases" of the Moon as the Moon orbits the Earth.
A month is a unit of time based on the moon's orbit around Earth. It lasts from one new moon to the next, which is about 29.53 days on average. The concept of a month helps us organize time and track changes in the position of the moon and the seasons.
The moon orbits around the Earth approximately once every 27.3 days. This period is known as a synodic month or lunar month.
The month of August is known as the "dog days" month. This term refers to the hottest and most sultry part of summer, typically experienced in July and August.
Every two weeks there abouts. A full moon is every 27-28 days but a half moon is every 14 days but if you want to know about just the time the half is on the right side then that is once every 27-28 days.
A lunar month typically has 29-30 days.
Becuz the earth rotates
menstrual cycle can be as short as 21 days or longer than 35 days. Changes from month to month are also normal. So having your menstruation 2 times a month is normal as long as its around 3 weeks apart. If not there may be other disorders.... My menstruation is 21 days apart and can go as short as 3 days and as long as 8 days. there is nothing abnormal about it. Alot of my friends has the same condition :)
because it spins on its axis every month (roughly every 28 days)
7665 days but that changes when you change the month you start with.
1500 per month * 365 days = 547500 days/month = 18000 when the units are adjusted.
It always changes, It depends on how many days a month. Usually 4 or 5
A season is a month every month it changes so it the day of what month it is in real life
2 times a month = two months, 16 times a day equals 16 days...
February of course !
February is the only month that changes number of days (Leap Year). January always has 31 days.
Except in a leap year, there are 28 days in the month of February. 28 days is equal to 4 weeks. Consequently, each day occurs exactly four times during the month.
About one month... or "moonth" Our word 'month' comes from 'moon' To be exact it takes 29.5 days to go through one full cycle of phases (shapes).
