Try cleaning the contacts with a pencil eraser or a nail file (non metalic) also check the fuse in the fuse panel under the dashboard. If it it a fuse there may be other electrical circuits that share this fuse that also may not work If these do not help try replacing the lighter itself you can find a new one at your local auto parts store if not the lighter there may be a broken connection in the wiring from the fuse panel to the lighter receptical
