take it to parts America have them read the codes that's begining signs of a vss vehicle speed sensor going , or tr sensor transmission range sensor
Could be low fluid,a bad sensor or transmission going bad.
there is no fire going to my fuel pump why is this I changed the main fuel pump relay
It tells the computer how fast you're going. The data it produces is used by the speedometer and the cruise control system.
on our van it was the vechicle variable speed sensor. On mine it was the 1st sign of Transmission going out and $3000 repair
There are 2 different O2 sensors on a 2000 accord, the first will be on the actual exhaust manifold itself, and the other is going to be under the car, either made into, or right after the catalytic converter. If you have a diagnostic (check engine light)code that says "Bank 1, Sensor 1" it's going to be the one on the manifold; if it says "Bank 1, Sensor 2" it's the one right after the catalytic converter.
Oxygen sensor, map sensor, dirty air filter, Transmission not going into overdrive or torque converter not locking up, May just need a good basic tune-up. Timing
Depending on your Accord, it's located either on the top of the throttle body or on the firewall. If it's located on the firewall, look for a vacuum hose going to the throttle body. Click the link for a photo.
Overdrive is the normally allowed position , but unless you are going fast enough it will not shift into overdrive because it acts as the " top " gear ( on my Explorer I have to be going 50 miles per hour / 80 kilometers per hour before it shifts into overdrive )
trans worn out, get a newer taranny Try running the trouble codes before making exspensive repairs. It may be mass air flow sensor
This can be caused by anything from a bad sensor to transmission going bad. A transmission mechanic can check for engine codes and other tests to verify if it is a simple fix or major repair.
the emissions system has a sensor that is located around the catalict converter that has more than likely gone bad and needs to be replaced, or the wiring could possibly be going bad or it could be possibly the adapter to the sensor. one of those should should fix your problem.
