are you sure it's from the egr valve? The EGR itself doesn't need coolant in any way shape or form. Most likely you're leaking coolant from the throttle body. Or it may be from the rear of the intake manifold. are you sure it's from the egr valve? The EGR itself doesn't need coolant in any way shape or form. on the motor
No. The valve cover gasket is leaking and should be replaced.
Most likely a leak in the heater core, should be on the passenger side under the dash.
If it is loosing coolant then you have a leak. Could be the reservoir itself is leaking. Cold also be a leaking water pump, or a blown head gasket. Have this looked at immediately as a blown head gasket will cause serious engine damage. You need to find this leak.Answerif this helps, when antifreeze/coolant leaks in to the engine 99% of the time the vehicle will blow white smoke out the tail pipe.also if your oil changes to a milky white substance you have antifreeze/coolant leaking into the engine.the previous answer has the right sugestions, have it checked.
Don't complain; if the engine isn't leaking coolant that just means everything is sealed up properly.
read the answer for where it the starter for a 96 maxima 95-99 maxima are AL THE SAME!!
yes
Go to YouTube and there is a video that shows you everything I just got done with mine and it's very very easy good luck
sounds like the valve seals are leaking oil into the cylinders when engine is stopped not a big deal for a car that age

Any type of antifreeze will work in a 99 Saturn SL1. Many people recommend using Prestone Antifreeze for cars that are older than ten years.
The cooling fans on a 99 Nissan Maxima will not come on if the coolant temperature sensor is defective. The fan only comes on when the temperature passes a threshold.
