The VSS is located on The transmission
Goes from the VSS to the ECM. Find the VSS, and you can trace it from there.
the vss wire is located as the purple/white wire above the radio, the harness plugging into the clock. tap into the purple/white wire for your aftermarket headunit vss wire.
the VSS is right on top of the Transmission with a plug on top of the VSS
The VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) moniters the speed of the vehicle.
~5V
The problem is more than likely your VSS( Vehicle Speed Sensor) located under your hood to the left of your intake. On Honda Accord, it is on top of the tranny, under the thermostat housing. It is a three wire sensor. If the VSS has failed, your check engine light will most likely be on.
There isn't a vehicle speed signal wire on a 2007 Sebring. The transmission computer uses its input and output sensors to factor vehicle speed. It then transmits that message over the communication wires of the vehicle.
check the windshield washer motor like on the 2007 ford explorer and expedition and most pickup's.

Vss (Vehicle Speed sensor) is bad. Easy to change on a 1998 honda civic. It's right on top of the tranny it cost about 90-100 bucks, but an easy fix. be sure to grease before installing. Tools you will need would be a socket wrench with an exrtension disconnect the wire from the top of the vss and tke out the bolt and gentley pull out. Vss (Vehicle Speed sensor) is bad.
