Hey David==It is either in the exhaust pipe or manifold. GoodluckJoe There are several spots it could be: it can be directly in the exhaust manifold or it the exhaust pipe just below where it connects to the manifold it will be a metal looking plug with one or 2 wires coming out of it.
The 1995 Nissan Pathfinder (non-California model anyway) has only one O2 sensor. It is located just in front of the catalytic converter, underneath the car approximately under the drivers seat. There is some kind of mount, front drive shaft, and with the location of the exhaust pipe relative to all these pieces, there is very little room to get a tool, or even a few fingers in there.
The electrical plug connector is located on the right hand side of the car, in the engine compartment, just in front of the firewall by about 6 inches with a bunch of other connectors. It is the one with three wires all white, black and white/black. The wire harness loops around the back of the engine and down over/across the transmission bell.
