How do you open the hood latch from the outside on a subaru impreza
The hood release is below the dashboard and to the far left. It will raise the hood just far enough for you to reach under the middle of the front of the hood. Push the release lever there to the left to fully raise the hood.
The hood release is located on the left hand side, under the dash, below the fuse access cover.
Inside the car, the initial release is on the left hand side underneath the fuse panel. Once that is pulled, the release to let the hood raise up is located parallel to the badge, and you pull to the left.

You can open a hood on a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron convertible gtc from the outside if your lever is broken. All you have to do is get a pair of vise grips and pull the cable which will release the hood.

To "pop the hood" first pull the hood release inside the car. It is on the drivers side next to the door and below the dash. Then outside the car release the hood safely latch, and raise the hood. Then put the hood prop up.
I have my moms car and the battery died, My three years old left a light on. I can't find the mechianism to open the hood to give it a hot shot. I know the hood release is in the cab but I can't open the hood.
