If your pathfinder happens to have a key code it will be in the glove box. But if it is a 1997 or older model it might not have it. Call dealer and see if they will give you a key code with your vin# but it will cost you if they have it for that year then you give it to a locksmith and he should charge you less.
Yes I do
have you got a key lock inside your glovebox? our 93 pulsar has a special key that fits a lock that is in the gove box, it turns the system off and on.
To find the ignition key code for a 1994 Nissan Sentra SE, check the owner's manual. You can also contact the manufacturer to obtain the code.
glovebox sticker
if you cannot pop it open then you either contact Nissan or throw it in the lake?
Find the vehicle identification number. Once found, call Nissan & they can give u the key code based on the VIN#.
I have a 92 Maxima and the key code is printed on a sticker inside of the glove box on the right hand side.
Programmer and PIN code required
nissan dealership will have code and can make new key based on vin.
Any Nissan dealership can tell you Not true. Nissan dealers can get a key code from the VIN# for vehicles from about mid 95 onwards, but only if the original selling dealer put the code on file with Nissan. Some older Nissan's had a small white tag in the glove box with the key code on it. Many of todays cars are sold with a small tag attached to the keys with the code, this was to be held on to by the customer in case of accidental loss. i just need to find were the code is so i can reset it
we have a 99 maxima andhad to call our original point of sale deal - i am the orig owner - luckily someone who cared enough to help foung our orig receipts w key code info - the Nissan shop said they purged the code and no way to get code - they quoted us over $1200.00 for whole new ignition/locks all because we lost our key - good luck getting your code - Nissan should have better customer care for Nissan owners. the whole thing seems shady to me that they don't keep a code
