The IAT sensor, or intake air temperature sensor, is located on the tubing the of intake on a 1991 Acura Integra. This sensor reports the temperature of air coming into the engine directly to the ECU.
The intake air temperature sensor is located on the mass airflow sensor in the engine. It is in the engine's air cleaner's cover. Since it is electrical, one must disconnect the battery before touching or removing it.
