Where is the igniyion coil on a2002 mazda protege
It could be the ICM or the pickup module.
Might want to check the secondary ignition system. That is everything from the coil(s) to the spark plugs.
As far as i know the block and head on the earlier model 626's(96-98)also work....is the same engine, the only difference is the intake manifold(which the 2000 626 one is an upgrade for the mzdaspeed protege)and the ignition which is different than the coil-on-plug on the protege////
How change my ignition switch nissan 2001 sentra.
You can find ignition coil for a 2001 Blazer on http://www.made-in-china.com/products-search/hot-china-products/Ignition_Coil.html
On a 2001 Ford Expedition : Both the 4.6 and 5.4 have the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils
Chiltons Mazda trucks manual has the picture and explanation.
It will have a cylinder misfire or will not run at all.
try to get a new ignition rotor
This one really sucks. You have to purchase a new set of wires for your protege, and Mazda makes this really expensive.($210.00) Nology makes a really good set that you can order on the internet. It is a special set up since Mazda uses a coil on plug system.
It could.
