Before you kill yourself looking for the fuse try putting the window all the way down then back up. This may fix your window. Opening and closing the rear hatch causes the window to settle down a little and it makes the safety trigger actuate (Unknown to the driver) This prevents the rear window washer from working. You don't want your window to wash with the rear window open do you? it may not go all the way up either without lowering it first.
Hope this helps.
Yes you can because we have an 87 with a factory manual window.
The dealier for a fee.

Internally its connected to the window motor gear drive. Lower the window and open the door. Remove the 2 panels that cover the door mechanism. Locate the lock and its arm. You will probably see that the plastic clip that holds it in place has either come off or broke. Reinstall or buy a new one as necessary.

I have a 1987 Toyota 4 runner...I need to replace my manual transmission fluid....and I needto replace it with Lucas Transmission fluid....how much do I need to buy?
I once had a 1987 that had the same problem! On the inside of the tailgate, at the top ends, there should be a small lever. You can flip them one at a time and it will un latch the tailgate!
