The Crank sensor in my 91 LeSarre Limited is behind the Harmonic balancer pulley....there are fins on the back of the pulley that line up with the sensor.
I have a 92 lumina with a 3.1 and I found the crank sensor to be located on the passenger side of the engine in the back of the engine NOT on the side of the engine below the knock sensor. Hello, in my experience, all O2 sensors are located in the exhaust just after the manifold. It appears easy enough to change. If it is the crank position sensor you are looking for, take a look around the main pulley at the bottom of the engine, you may see a square-ish component located close to the actual pulley wheel, this would be the crank position sensor, it should have wires connected to it.
the starter on 91 civic located on passenger side pretty easy to take out if you have small hands . Should be green or pink
behind driver side bumper
No! you should use a chain wrench to hold the pulley from turning, lefty loosy, righty tighty!
Dose a 91 honda civic have a gas light
Where is crank sensor on 3.1 v6 91
your water pump is leaking and traveling down to the cover. Water pump needs replacement.
P/S pump is located behind the radiator on the driver side....
You may need to use a breaker bar. I recomend using a 1/2 drive, impact gun. If you use heat, you can damage your crank seal or melt the timing belt cover! The bolt is RH threaded. There is a key-pin that holds the crank to the shaft. Once bolt is removed, it's all down hill. It should be a 17mm or an 11/16 may work. Good luck...
