The IAT ( Intake Air Temperature ) sensor is located on the back of the air cleaner housing.
Only the 1996 and newer Honda's have a i.a.t sensor. It is located in the air intake tube that runs to the throttle body/intake manifold.
The knock sensor for a 1996 200sx is located on the passenger side of the engine. It is located under the intake manifold.
On my 1995 Ford Explorer - 4.0 L - OHV - V6 , the intake air temperature sensor is in the big rubber air intake tube , facing to the rear , near the throttle body . A 1996 - V6 - should be the same
under the intake manifold
The map sensor is located on the intake manifold on a 1996 Olds Achieva 2.4 liter. It is in the center of the intake manifold.
The coolant temperature sensor is on the rear of the engine, towards the top near the air intake hose. Move the air intake hose and you will see a single wire connector going to small sensor. The CTS is located on the block on the cylinder 4 side of the motor.
The ECT or the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is a switch. This switch is located on the bottom of the radiator in the 1996 Camry.
near trottle body
The IAT (intake air temperature) sensor should be in the air intake snorkel between the MAF (mass air flow) sensor and the throttle body.
The map sensor is screwed into the side of the upper intake manifold.
It should be in the air intake. It look like a light bulb filement most of the time. Look on the air intake box. Also look in the tube coming from the cowl.
