They do not need to be adjusted. Their function is to monitor the air pressure in the tire.
NO - there isn't a pressure sensor inside the spare
I'm trying to find out what kind of tire pressure sensor would my 2004 monte carlo need?
No, the sensor will need replaced.
In the valve stems
I don't believe there is
The answer is in both the driver's manual and on the tire itself. If you don't have either of these, then try using Toyota.com or go to a Toyota dealership.
If the tires are all at the correct pressure, then you have a failed sensor and will need to bring it in for service.
Low tire pressure or failed tire pressure sensor.Low tire pressure or failed tire pressure sensor.
The picture for the tire pressure sensor is a sort of flat tire. On my 2000 is is right below the fuel gauge and the bottom of the 'flat' tire is \/\/\/\/ and the sides bulge out a bit.
40-44 psi read the pressure requirement on the tire itself written on the tire close to the edge of the rim . it will say so many lb's. at so much pressure
indicator can't reset
