For the Suzuki Samurai the VIN is pop riveted to the dash on the drivers side, visible from outside the vehicle. I think that location is required of all manufacturers. A second location (on the Samurai, at least) is the right front frame area behind the tire. Check that area for your chassis/VIN number.
There are 17 letters and numbers in the serial to the Suzuki LT80, it is considered a VIN number.
My Samurai's are older than yours but the fuse block location should not have changed. Look on the passenger DRIVER side, up high in the foot kick area. :-) zn
The serial number says its a 2002 .

That is not the serial number that looks like the engine number ull find the serial number on the steering stem

open driver side door and look on side of dash panel, usually where they are at.
