You most likely replaced the wrong o2 sensor. The Hanes manual incorrectly state that the bank one sensor one O2 sensor is in the front. It is actually facing the firewall towards the bottom. Cylinder one faces the same direction; hence the nomenclature.
O2 sensor
look at where the headers come off the engine. follow this and there should be a rod like projection sticking out with wires running down from it. that is your O2 sensor.
to change o2 sensor ,you need to buy a o2 sensor socket from a parts store then disconnect neg terminal on battery ,after that disconnect wire connecter on o2 sensor and remome o2 sensor
Trouble code P2238 means: O2 sensor positive current control circuit low bank 1 sensor 1
Downstream O2 sensor circuit volts high.Downstream O2 sensor circuit volts high.
No. do you mean the front or rear o2? The front might be an A/F sensor. Big difference. But no, there isn't.
That is the O2 sensor behind the catalytic converter.
The bank 2 pre cat O2 sensor is in the rear exhaust manifold, the bank2 post cat O2 sensor is under the car after the catalytic converter, P/S nest to transmission.
it is the upper stream o2 sensor before the convertor
2001 Tundra v8 code P0135 is a o2 sensor heater circut( Bank1 sensor 1).
