There are several ways to find out what the code numbers mean. 1) You can go to your local auto store and purchase the repair manual for that specific vehicle - the codes are listed for the years and model the book covers. 2) The owners manual (I am told) does have it listed within. 3) Call your local Ford dealer and the mechanic can tell you. Not to get you to spend money needlessly, but, I purchased the book and every time I have a question it has the answer. It is well worth the $15-$20 you will spend to buy it as it saves a lot of headaches and worry.
