The 23250-74080 part number is for the denso 312cc injector which should be stock in your car... you would be looking for a denso part number that would be wrong.... Check out sard injectors... they have a listing for a high impedance (very important) top mount denso style injector... do a search on "sard" and you will find them......
I use the Denso plugs in my SC400
Hate to say it but probably the Stealership.
Cleaning the fuel injectors is a good start.
How do change Fuel injectors on GS300 2000
believe it or not the starter is located usually under the fuel injectors just in front of the windshield area.
my Lexus rx300 misfired as well and i took it to the mechanic and it was the fuel injectors that where dirty because of bad gas
intake, exhaust, fuel pump, and injectors there a number of bolt ons and theres always turbos and superchargers. http://www.lextasy.com/IS300_intakes_ctg.htm ----
Fuel filter, fuel pump, or pressure bypass/relief valve is not providing the correct, enough fuel pressure at the injectors.
A lexus is made by toyota they use the same parts most of which are made by denso, aisin corporations most of your parts such as plug wires ignition coils radiator, spark plugs, starter, etc are denso made and other parts such as water pump, and timing components are made by aisin. it is not a good idea to use parts made by ac delco or delphi these are used mainley used by general motors. motorcraft is a ford, lincoln, mercury part brand mopar is made by daimler chryler dodge, jeep, chrysler if you want good replacement parts for your toyota, lexus, scion use beck arnley parts these are basically oe parts just repackaged and sold at a lower price but yes lexus, toyota, scion are toyota brand vehicles for example the 1998 toyota camry and the lexus es300 are the same car under the hood the interior and body styling is all that sets them apart.
yes they both have the same block as the supra the difference between the supra engines and Lexus ones are compression, and on the twinturbo engine, both compression and the turbo setup (intake headers, injectors etc.) it is quite possible to that the engine minus enverything on it and fit into any of these cars and then fit the rest to the block.
you need to disconnect the hoses above the fuel rails, remove the air instake hose, remove those filters on the hoses, remove the fuel lines off the fuel rails, pull the fuel rails up not sideways you may brake the injectors! the injectors do not screw on they just pop in and out of the fuel rail and engine block...pretty simple id be glad to do it for anyone free if your around elizabethtown ky, i have a ls400 1991 and i know these cars pretty well!
