I own a 2002 Civic Ex and took my car in for repairs at the dealership for a right wheel bearing and dampeners. My car had 108,000 miles on it. I was told that it would be $700.00 to replace the timing belt which was a tedious job. Which need to be done at a 105,000 miles. I'll write back later with all the details of what it all comes with. They charged me $550 for what I came in for. $400 of it was on labor. It only took them 3 hours to do the work. No way is a Honda tech worth $133 an hour. There economy cars not Porshce's.....
Discusss this with the Honda dealer in your area for the type of driving that you do.
The timing marks on a 2000 Honda Civic Ex Coupe are on the crank pulley. They are also on the cam.
If it is a chain, never. If it is a belt, usually around 100,000 miles. The break point on a 2000 civic is 120,000.
How do you change the front and rear brake pads on a 2000 Honda Civic Si?
No. For the most part, Civic and Accord parts are not interchangeable.
change the fuse

This is an interference engine. Serious engine damage will occur if this is done incorrectly. This is a job for a professional. Seriously, Zero Tolerance.
