To whom ever you are: :)) Timing chains, unlike timing belts, do not require regular interval replacement. The time chain is a life time part, (in most cases), in your case it is not under any warranty. The timing chain is oiled by splash from the oil pan itself. If you change your oil every 5000 miles or sooner, (I recommend 5000 miles, oil and filter), the timing chain will usually last the life of the vehicle. It is a VERY EXPENSIVE, replacement. I am a retired 25 year Toyota service manager .Very large service department and we probably dident replace 5 chains per year. We looked at over 2500 Toyotas a month. Hope this helped. Chuck
