i have workrd on my nissan frontier as far as mantaining it, change oil every 3-4 thousand miles use high grade oil and filter change water pump every year they are only thirty bucks and change fix any leak imediatly and your 2.4 k nissan timing chain will last atleast 600.000 miles.
depends on the year, mine does and its a '97 sentra
It must be a timing CHAIN because the Gates website does not list a timing belt for the 3.0 liter V6 in a 2000 Nissan Maxima
It has a timing chain
Answer to timing belt for 1996 AltimaThey don't have timing belts. At least mine doesn't. Double check your manual or call a Nissan dealer & ask to be sure. There is not a timing belt on this model or any year before or after this model. You have a 2.4L engine with a timing chain and there is no reason to replace the timing chain unless it is making noise. The chain is at least rated at a 7-10 hour job and should not be considered for repair due to the damage that can arise if not careful.
It has a timing chain. I have the OEM service manual for that year Bonneville, and it shows a timing chain.
it has a timing chain. there were no timing belts on corollas after the 1997 model year
Timing CHAIN - beginning with the 2002 model year.
Any model or engine size of that year regal has a timing chain.
2002-2006 model year highlander's use a timing chain and do not be used
It has a chain and gears. NO BELT. There would be no reason to fool with the timing chain and gears on that year engine. The chain and gears would out last the engine.
