Airflow gets restricted when a person lies down because there is pressure on their lungs. This can cause it to feel as if a person is having trouble breathing, depending on how heavy they are.
low coolant? Bad thermostat? Climate control not sensing proper temperature? Heater core plugged or restricted? Heater core airbound?
It's not normal. It is possible that the heater in the humidifier is not working, resulting in a cold airflow delivered to the mask, which might cause you to shiver. If the heater is working and you still find the airflow too cold, you may need to use a heated tube to ensure warm air delivered at the mask.
Malfunctioning blower fans can cause your air conditioning cold air to not flow properly. The airflow vent direction door might be stuck closed.
The most likely is the vacuum line used to operate the swinging doors to redirect airflow is broken or not in place.
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core airbound? Heater core restricted or plugged? Defective radiator cap not building sufficient pressure?
This could be due to a malfunction in the thermostat or a problem with the heating system's limit switch. It could also be caused by restricted airflow or a dirty air filter, which can cause the system to overheat and cycle on and off frequently. It's recommended to have a professional HVAC technician inspect and diagnose the issue.
A bad water pump or thermostat can cause an engine to overheat. A plugged (clogged) radiator or heater core may also cause an engine to overheat.
Check the condition of your heater core.
Most common things are Thermostat or a bad heater core but could also be something blocking the door down by the heater core. I changed my Thermostat and Heater control Valve to find out a pencil fell in the defroster and prevented the door from closing. Hope this helps.
Ice on the air conditioning pipes usually indicates a lack of airflow due to a clogged filter or restricted airflow. This can cause the coils to freeze over, leading to the system blowing hot air. It's important to check and clean the air filter, ensure proper insulation on the pipes, and have a professional inspect the system for any leaks or refrigerant issues.
It is definitely possible that being rear ended can cause the mass airflow sensor to go bad. If the exhaust system has been damaged, it will effect the airflow. Also the impact itself may have jarred the sensor loose.
