Right by the shift module on the transmission. Right behind where the Exhaust pipes join up when the come out of the engine.
I found that the easiest way to get to the starter of an 1987 Trooper II is to take the front right wheel off. You should see it right there, and with relatively easy access.
The fuel filter is located near the right rear wheel bolted to the chasis.
just behind the wheel well of the right front tire its a silver color looking thing
above right rear tire, no tools required 2 minute replacement
use ratchets, sockets, wrenchs and it should come right off
You push the winter drive button on the center console....right behind shifter.
I believe that it's just above the Front Right spark plug coil. It has a vacuum hose attached to it.
The tranny uses a preset program to shift that is computer based. You use your right foot on the gas pedal to get the trooper up to speed for the shift to happen in the normal driving scenario.
dont do it. on my 2001 it sounds obnoxious and it will not run right due to isuzu's over-engineering on these vehicles.
The power windows work off a relay,it is the bottom one in the fuse box inside vehicle, right below it is a small button, push this in and it will reset itself.
If the Trooper has the 3.5L v6, there are 4 SO2 sensors. There are two banks right and left, or bank 1 and bank 2 respectively. Then there is a sensor upstream from the catalytic converter on each bank (sensor 1) , and one down stream (sensor 2).Hope this helps/
