The recommended tire pressure for a 2004 Hyundai Elantra is 30 psi for both the front and rear tires.
The tire pressure for the stock 195/65 R15 tires on a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier is 30 psi. This is the pressure when the tires are cold.
A 2004 Does not have Tire pressure monitors. There for, as a tire shop manager, I would set your tires to 35 PSI. An easy number for both of us to remember and a good pressure for proper tire wear. Just keep air in your tires and you will save $$$ in the long run.
Check the sidewalls on the tires. It will be "printed" there.
35 pounds
If the tires are all at the correct pressure, then you have a failed sensor and will need to bring it in for service.
They do not need to be adjusted. Their function is to monitor the air pressure in the tire.
Look on the sidewall of your tires - it'll tell you the max load rating at at what psi the tires should be at.
well that all depends on what you are doing, if you are "off roading" the norm is around 10-15 psi but if you are on the road to get the best mileage you should keep it at the reccomended pressure that is printed on the tires.
They keep the tires on the road. with out them the tires would bounce up and down as you drive down the road.
The easy one first: the front tires losing pressure are what is triggering the check tire pressure light - exactly as the engineers hoped would happen. The losing pressure problem - take the van to a *good* tire shop and tell them about the pressure loss. They'll know what is going to fix it: buff up the rims where the tires seats and then apply a coat of sealer.Any good tire shop knows that sometimes you have to take this extra step with aluminum rims.
Usually Caravan tires should be set at around 35 or 36 psi.
