The owner's manual reads to use 5W-20. They do this in order to meet fleet fuel economy standards as I understand it. I use 5W-30 to extend engine life, especially if you live in the south. If you have more than 90K I would recommend using a high mileage blend of synthetic and regular. I use GTX high mileage in mine. I have 155K and still running like new.
