Well this all depends on which year and model you are referring to.. 4g63 and 4g64's are common motors for express vans. There are diesel variants also. This site should solve your problem :

If your question refers to what motor can be retro-fit into an express... well the question really is...how much money do you have? I have seen examples of this van with LS1 V8's fitted to them..
