after the vehicle is warm & at normal operating temperature the idle speed should be 700 rpm +/- 50rpm

Toyota 5K engines idle are: without vaccuum hoses attached but sealed = 750 rpm with attached vaccuum hoses and power steering = 850 rpm with aircon on and power steering attached = 900 rpm actually i run mine 5K toyota at 600 RPM with power steering but without aircon. With aircon on it should be at 800 RPM. or else its gonna be shaking. Ricky Recodo
650-700 rpm.. If any lower it tends to shake and vibrate to much.. and anything higher is unnecessary.
It is controled by the computer snd should be about 600 rpm. The idle speed solonoid controls it with a signal from the computer. GoodluckJoe It should be 750 RPM after the engine is warmed to normal operating temp.
The idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable. If the speed is incorrect, there is a malfunction with the idle speed motor, a sensor, or wiring.
The computer will vary it from 600-1200
when u first start the car it will idle high, around 1.5 rpm to 2 rpm. when its warm up it should idle between 700-1000 rpm
