http://www.internetautoguide.com/reviews/45-int/sport-utility-vehicles/Honda/passport/2002/ It seems that the EX is an up grade to the LX offering power moon roof and wood grain in interior. The link may answer other questions you have.
a lot
about 5 HP one is Vtec and the other isn't the LX is a 2.0 litter and the EX is a 2.2
The EX has an engine producing 127 H.P versus 106 in the LX. The Ex also has ABS, and A/C standard which are an option on the LX. EX has a sunroof which is NA on the LX. EX is a nicer car and if you have a choice, go for the EX model.
If it has a sunroof it is an EX if not, it is an LX.
LX is better
the ex has moonroof , power seatbelts , and the lx doesnt, theres not much of a difference between those two, but the engine is also different, Ex has a v-tec engine, whereas the Lx doesnt, so the Lx has a little less power, depending on the year, it's somewhere around 20 less horsepower and only slightly less torque than the Ex
Lx
"An lx is a sedan and an ex is a coupe"Nope. "LX" and "EX" are simply trim lines Honda uses to identify various optional improvements from the base model. Either trim line can be applied to sedans or coupes, Civic or Accord. Generally, "DX" is the base model, "LX" is the mid level and "EX" is the luxury level. "Si" is a limited trim line, top of the line but not offered every year.
The Honda Civic LX is a base model produced with less features then the Civic EX model. The key main differences are a larger fast engine, leather options as well as updated audio capabilities.
No.
The Honda Civic DX, EX and LX are the type of variants available for the model. Each variants has a set number of options available. The DX is the common deluxe model, EX is the executive model and the LX is the luxury model.
It will be an LX or EX as there was no DX or SE coupe. If it has a sunroof it is an EX if not it is an LX.
