After some negotiation, I was able to get a Nissan dealer to replace them for about $600, including parts and labor.
No
For the 2002-2006 Altima it's about a 6 hour job. That is about $375 in labor and $278 parts from dealer if you have a shop do it.
How much does it cost for labor to change a timing chain in a 2001 Alltima ?
i have a 2004 altima and have received quotes for the 2 front struts. one quote is as high as 300 dollars per side..parts, labor, tire balance and front end alignment. this quote is based upon Nissan parts, or what a Nissan dealership would charge to do it. the mechanic said it would be less..but he wouldn't say how much more less. 2nd quote is 115 per side..that's all they said-with the exception that you should replace all 4 at the same time(rolling eyes) You do not have to replace all four struts at once, but you shouldn't just do one at time either. Replace them in pairs if you can't do all four. Struts are around $200 each. I would not recommend having a Nissan dealer replace them because the labor alone is going to cost way too much money; have a local certified mechanic do it instead.
1994 Nissan altima doesn't have a timing belt. The 1994 Nissan altima has a timing chain. Which is much more durable than a timing belt.AnswerIf you think your car is out of time...check the distributor first. When it goes out it sound like the car is out of time. AnswerThe engine has to be removed to replace the timing chain; expect about $1,000 for labor alone.
i paid 218 including alternator and labr. 159 for alternator and 45$ labor+ tax.
The average cost of labor to replace a heater core will vary from dealer to dealer. The national average is around 105 dollars per hour.
I am having the axel changed not one boot...and the mechanic quoted me $150 which includes parts and labor.
book says .7 hours labor, idk how much the part is probably around 100. so probably at most 200
Labor should be around $350. You can get the Exedy clutch kit (OEM) off Ebay for $180 shipped.
I have a 2005 Nissan altima and it use to do that until I replaced the crankshaft and camshaft sensors, have not had that problem since. The crankshaft sensor is real easy to replace. The camshaft is a little more difficult but can be done, I would recommend you trying it yourself. The sensors I got from autozone and paid about $35 a piece and safe a lot in labor charges.
