The thermostat in a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo V6 LS is located on the driver's side of the motor. It is the lowest part that can be seen bolted to the motor on that side. The location is below the EFI, or Electronic Fuel Injector (carburetor).

Its in the headliner above the rear door. The cover on it pops right off.

I don't know about the Isuzu, but the 93-97 Altimas had front disc brakes and rear brakes were standard drum, or optional discs.

You did not say which engine you have but it is most likely driven by the timing belt so any front accesories on the engine that are in the way will need to be removed and a new timing belt will be needed as well.
It should fit any Isuzu Rodeo with the 3.2L engine. I know it will fit 2000 - 2004 Rodeo's. I use them on my 2001 Rodeo LS. The filter is a little longer than the OEM spec'ed filter, but there is plenty of room for this filter, or a longer one. Rich W. Apex, NC
