If it cranks just fine once it gets going then, most likely, the starter has to be replaced.
Check spark plug wires, and voltage on the distrubutor.

two very good possibilities are the battery, and the starter. its easy to test, just try to jump start it. if it still just clicks it needs a starter. if it starts its probably the battery.

Do you have lights? If not, you r battery is probably discharged. I guess there could be a problem with the starter circuit. I believe this has a fuse in the underhood fuse block.
battery needs replacing, make sure you replace it with a battery of correct cranking amps
