Engine Blow-by is caused by one ora combinationof these things; Contaminated oil from fuel not burned off properly (plug gap, worn plugs), rich fuel mixture of too much fuel (carb settings, weak injectors), leaking head gasket drawing moisture from the water system, and ending inweakened rings and low compression.
White smoke means moisture is also escaping into the exhaust, which then points to a head or exhaust header gasket leak. Or it's condensation in the exhaust from being in a humidor cold climate.
Having both white smoke and blow-by issues, I would point to a weakened head gasket.Do a compression check, check for foamy oil as that will point also toward gasket issues, and best yet, get it to a mechanic and get fixed what needs fixing before the heads warp or the engine blows.

usually a blown head gasket (most all the time white smoke on a a diesel engine means antifreeze in the combustion chamber)
is this a diesel truck?does this engine have a turbo?if it is a diesel with a turbo,it will blow white smoke when cold till it warms upif it continues to blow smoke check your air filterother reason if it continues to blow smoke is the turbo is about to crater get it checkedalso check engine oil for coolant lossif coolant is leaking into cylanders, this will cause white smoke
White smoke will come out of a vehicle's exhaust system when the engine is cold. This is because of condensation build up in the engine and exhaust. The white smoke should go away after several minutes of idling. If you engine is always blowing white smoke, regardless of temperature, then it might be burning oil. Check the levels of your engine oil and your transmission fluid (if you have an automatic) and have the engine compression checked for blow-by.
a blow piston or a head gasket in your engine
White smoke is usually do to water in your system. That happens when you blow a head gasket, or have a cracked head. If your oil level is high check your oil for water, if so that's were your coolant is going. All in all you have a blown head gasket.
If it is blowing white smoke out of the exhaust tailpipe when the engine is at operating temperature, engine coolant is getting into an engine cylinder from a bad head gasket or some other problem
white smoke is water. head gasket or ?
Blown head gasket will do it check your coolant for oil in it and your engine oil for coolant it it...
White smoke = Coolant leak, head gasket is the likely culprit. Blue smoke = Engine burning oil. Black smoke = Engine running too rich, wasting fuel.
have a mechanic check your turbo.most will tell u that a turbo blows black smoke but can aslso blow white smoke when turbo is malfunctioning
Thick white smoke is caused when coolant gets into a cylinder and from there into the exhaust. It is a sign that if it is not fixed real soon, you will blow or burn up your engine.
White smoke that smells sweet, from the tailpipe is a sign of coolant entering the combustion chamber. You possibly have a blown head gasaket or a cracked head. Very Serious!!! Stop driving the vehicle until you have this looked into, or you will destroy this engine.
