Check the recommended fuse rating for locks. Yu my havetohook up a voltage meter tothe electric lock circuit to test the amp draw of the system-the best way to eliminate the system at ault.
Yes. They used to be optional (1991 Galant), but (at least 1997 on) with alloy wheels appears to have had them as standard.
I think you have to push the 'unlock' button twice in order to unlock the doors.
A faulty the door lock sensor will cause the door locks to lock and unlock repeatedly. The door lock sensor is located below the dashboard on the drivers side.

Umm, there are still manual locks. Take your finger and push the lock over and unlock the door. Good Luck!!!!
You may not be able to. Mitsubishi started putting anti lock shields above lock mechanisms to prevent slimjims from being used. WARNING if you have power locks and power windows you could short out window electrical system trying to use a metal METAL slimjim.
